Rachel Dickinson has published hundreds of arcticles on travel, nature, and science in numerous newspapers and magazines. PUB DATE SEPTEMBER 2010 In "Deciduous Forests " kids ages 8-10 will investigate this diverse biome and see how environmental threats affect the earth's deciduous forests. They will compare the various ecosystems and the variety of plants and animals that have adapted to the seasonal changes that are characteristic of life there.
