PUB DATE SEPTEMBER 2010 In "Deserts" kids ages 8-10 will investigate this growing biome and discover how landscape and living things exist in harmony. They will learn about desertification and the impact of ranching and overdevelopment in areas close to deserts that makes the desert a rapidly expanding ecosystem.
